if you look at Tuesday's price action, the market was trapped in a very tight compression around VWAP and we didn't really get a decent move until ~5 hours in. Yday was somewhat the same with lots of compressions, but that did end up producing a monster move 3.5 hours in. I'm not saying the same will happen here. Just something to be mindful of. Until otherwise noted, this is still very much LPTE

when it takes all day long (i.e. multiple hours) for a decent move to finally unfold, I am much less excited about trading it and am more guarded. Why did it take all day long for this move to unfold? Why were buyers/sellers dormant earlier and now suddenly active? If they were so excited, we would have seen earlier signs of that in the price action. What could have changed in the last 10 minutes for a sudden and meaningful change in sentiment/context? Was there meaningful news (for example, yday's bond auction causing the market to drop hard)?
Another reason why I don't really like taking trades late in the day is because there's a lot less time for the trade to work out. If the market puts in a contra move and drags your stock down with it, there's very little time left in the day for it to recover. You also have to deal with late day volatility in the last hour, and without the ability to hold overnight, the pressure is on

Another important thing to consider (please note that I'm not assuming this is your situation, just wanted to call it out): are you in profit or losing on the position before NVDA earnings? I'm willing to bet that more traders would hold over peer earnings if the position is down in hopes that it recovers on good earnings reaction, vs holding on to a trade in profit over earnings in hopes of even more profit. There's a big mindset thing here.

- During your free trial ask members in the chat room if they are making money. We don’t mind if you do this and we won’t interfere when members respond.
- Watch the trades in the chat room during the free trial.
- Watch the YouTube videos. In each daily video we recap the trades highlighted in the prior video. Go back weeks or months and watch those videos. In fact, check the YouTube videos that were posted during the biggest market crash since the Great Depression
